The T.A.G.B. is the largest Tae Kwon-Do Association in Britain with over 22,500 members and 500 schools. The advantage of this is that if you move areas, there will be a T.A.G.B. school near where you live. Progress in Tae Kwon-Do in measured by undertaking gradings to achieve a different colour belt. The beginner starts as a white belt, and progresses as shown in the "Belt Progression" table.

Reduced rates are available for families and partners. I know about the added expense when two or more members of the same family train together. I have taught many family groups to Black Belt level over the years.

Minimum training time in-between gradings up to blue belt is three months. Due to the more advanced syllabus after blue belt, the minimum training time in-between gradings increases to a six month period. A Tae kwon Do Juniorblack belt with at least a seventh dan examines all gradings.

The T.A.G.B. host a considerable tournament calendar which is available to all T.A.G.B. members. A number of foreign competitors also travel to compete in T.A.G.B. tournaments. All expenses are paid for those individuals who make it to the Great Britain Team.
