How Do I Play The Online Crossword Puzzle?
You play the crossword by using your mouse and keyboard to navigate around the crossword. To select a clue to solve first single click your mouse over the clue you want to solve (the clue will be underlined when your mouse is over the clue). This will select the answer position on the crossword. You can then type in your answer using the keyboard. Alternatively you can navigate around the crossword using the "arrow" keys on your keyboard. The full list of keyboard actions is shown below:
- [Space] - Clear current letter and move to next letter in word.
- [Return] - If an intersection of two words, will toggle between the two words.
- [Backspace] - Clear current letter and move to previous letter in word.
- [Delete] - Clear current letter.
- [Tab] - Skip to next clue.
- Arrow Keys - Navigate around crossword.
- [A-Z] Enter letter in word and move to next letter in word.
You can check if your answers to the questions are correct by pressing the "Show Errors" button.
Please Note:
- If you navigate away from the crossword page you will loose your progress.
- Javascript needs to be enabled in your browser to use the quiz.
